Remote Learning: Hidden Shame workshop
Shame is often overlooked in the therapeutic process both within clients and therapists alike, and is frequently present in most presentations from trauma, complex abuse, addictions, compulsions, mood disorders and sexual behaviour.
Delivered on Zoom by Kevin Fehin, Senior Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Among other qualifications he holds a Masters in Psychoanalytic Studies. This remote training course will allow you to interact with Kevin and other participants in a virtual classroom where, in addition to the workshop content there will be live discussions, question & answer sessions and skills practice. You can access the course wherever you have an internet connection; on a desktop, tablet or even a smartphone.
This programme is open to individuals and can also be delivered as in-house training to groups of employees.
Suitable for: Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, Youth Workers, Social Care Workers
Members of The Psychological Society of Ireland and The Addiction Counsellors of Ireland can receive learning credits/CPD points for completing this workshop.
"The trainer was brilliant, spoke very clearly and ensured everyone understood the information. Main points were reiterated throughout the day and this helped absorb the information. Open discussion, opportunity to learn from others, well organized and facilitated with breaks to ensure high levels of engagement. Not too long but long enough to be of huge benefit. Training on zoom worked well with minimal technical issues."
