Remote Learning: Key Working, Care Planning & Case Management

This programme is designed to provide an overview of key working and case management. Key working is the simple process of working with clients to achieve their goals and part of this process is effective case management, in essence the two go hand in hand. There will be examples of best practice and practical examples given to develop theory into practice. Above all this programme is a practical application of relevant theory in relation to key working and case management.

This workshop will be delivered live on Zoom: The course will allow you to interact with your trainer and other participants in a virtual classroom where, in addition to the workshop content, there will be time built in for live discussions, question & answer sessions and skills practice. You can access the course wherever you have an internet connection; on a desktop, tablet or even a smartphone.

The Learning Curve Institute was contracted by The HSE to deliver training on these topics as part of The National Addiction Training Programme and therefore possesses in depth knowledge of both the content and the training delivery.

Note: Attendees will be expected to have their cameras on during the training. This helps generate engagement and interaction with their trainer and other participants. If special circumstances mean that a participant may have to switch off their camera occasionally please let us know in advance. It is not permitted to record this workshop.

This workshop is eligible for 10 CPD points from The Addiction Counsellors of Ireland.

"The workshop was really interactive, good mix of discussion, sharing of knowledge and reinforcing/guiding us with theoritical standpoint. Liam is a great facilitator, impeccable time keeping and really good at holding group to discussion topic and imparting knowledge."

"I enjoyed the two days training, Liam was very good, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The content of the course was right and he referred us to where we can find other resources. There were other important issues brought up such as professional boundaries that I hadn’t expected to be a part of the course but was really valuable. There are lots of things you do while in a job, and this course provided a refresher for some areas. The course was conducted well through zoom and the best you can expect from remote learning."
