French for The Hotel & Catering Industry
This programme is aimed at people who wish to work in the catering industry in a French speaking country or at those people already working in hospitality in a French speaking country and who wish to improve their fluency and understanding. It covers all aspects of the French language needed to work in hotels, bars, restaurants and other customer service based companies. This programme is also aimed at those people working in the hotel & catering industry who wish to learn basic Spanish so as to enable them to deal effectively with Spanish speaking clients. The workshop is highly interactive and participants will be given the opportunity to practise the French they have learnt in a series of roleplays and scenarios typical to the catering industry in France.
Programme Duration
1 Day Workshop. 9:30am - 4:30pm.

Certificate in French for The Catering Industry from The Learning Curve Institute.
Programme Aims
The objective of the one day workshop in French for The Catering Industry is to give students the French language tools to enable them to work efficiently and effectively in the hospitality sector in any French speaking country.
Learning Outcomes
1. To equip participants with the French language tools to work in the catering industry in a French speaking country. 2. To give students an introduction to French food and wine. 3. To enhance confidence in participants use of French, both spoken and written. 4. To enable students to use basic French grammar in conversations and written pieces. 5. To develop participants understanding of French culture and customs.

No specific entry requirements.
Assessment
Assessment will be carried out through continuous assessment of roleplays and exercises.
